Katahdin Hair Sheep Sheep can be used for grass, weed, or pasture control. If you do herding or livestock lessons, these
sheep are well dogged. Springtime is the best time for young lambs and culled ewes. Call for prices and available stock.

This is how we work our sheep, Border
Collies like Jess doing a "walk up and lie down." Some are too closed-minded to see the Border Collie as a farming
tool. Bred as a farm use item, they work livestock and save the farmer or shepherd time, something I have little of these
days!

Even in the fog,
they are so well mannered.

Jess holding sheep near me. I cannot spend my day
chasing sheep all over a pasture just to give shots and dewormings. If you're not using a stockdog, then you're wasting lots
of farming time.
Check back often for ram lambs, ewe lambs, and older ewes which are
great for herding lessons with your dog or for grass control.
